I-N-G-S is for In Noticeably Good Spirits

Cathy Lessmann writing again....ho-ho-ho-ing at my desk, (in other words, in very good spirits) over the following "state of the community" report.

To begin, our on-line library containing the works of Robert Bertram and Ed Schroeder (and eventually others) is now up to seventy and counting. I sincerely hope you are taking advantage of this marvelous resource! A very kind person responded to my last newsletter's request for help; we now have permission from all the publishers I have written to.

Secondly, we have added a book and movie review section to our web site. This basically consists of reviews previously posted in Thursday Theologies under Ed Schroeder's oversight. Thanks go to Floridians Norb Kabelitz, a long-time Crossings supporter and Sabbatheology writer, and Kris Wright, a board member and also Sabbatheology writer, for compiling this list.

Lori Cornell continues as editor of our Sabbatheology ministry, assuring that weekly text "Crossings" get written, edited, and posted. Even now she is scheduling writers for the upcoming Church Year. I know she would appreciate hearing from you if you are interested in being a writer. Tom Law and Nathan Schroeder keep us going with internet and computer work. This year Tom registered us for a PayPal account, making it possible to give donations via internet. (And yes, that's a hint.)

Finally, we on the board feel an urgency to host a nationwide conference which would seek to explain and promote Law-Gospel theology. We have a group working on this, hampered only by the enormity of the undertaking. Again, we can use help. Not just logistical, but content suggestions. What kind of topics would you like to discuss? Who would you like to see as keynote speakers? To whom, and how, should we publicize this?

In short, we're humming along, confident in the One who sent us our dear "Sun of Righteousness." Let's celebrate his coming.
